Our farmhouse kitchen is the centre of our home - figuratively and literally. I spend a lot of time in this space experimenting with ingredients - adapting old recipes to gluten-free alternatives, putting a personal twist on a classic recipe, or applying many hours of cookbook reading to creations that will end up becoming new family favourites.
Many of the ingredients used in some of my favourite dishes are grown in our seasonal garden or are sourced locally when available, and they are always gluten-free. It has taken several years to transition my kitchen to a completely safe environment for my family - several of whom are Celiac. But the transition was not difficult, it just took research, patience and practice.
Most of the recipes you will find on my site are gluten-free with only a few still kicking around from “a past life”. I am happy to share all of them with you and hope that you enjoy preparing these dishes as much as I do.
